Job Summary

We are actively seeking highly artistic, organized, and energetic individuals to join our store team. As a Display Coordinator, you will spend a portion of your time creating hand-painted signs and the rest of your time working the floor as a traditional Crew Member. You will serve as the visual architect, delivering the signature aesthetic that sets Trader Joe's apart in the grocery industry. This is a highly unique role perfect for artists who also love customer service.

Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Sign Making: Utilize paints, chalk markers, and custom lettering techniques to create beautiful, informative pricing signs, murals, and "New Item" boards.
• Visual Merchandising: Design and build thematic promotional endcaps, ensuring products are displayed safely while catching the customer's eye.
• Crew Responsibilities: Jump onto the cash register, stock shelves, and assist customers on the floor for a significant portion of your shift.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all artwork aligns with the specific, fun, and irreverent brand voice that our neighborhood customers expect.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• A portfolio demonstrating proficiency in hand-lettering, typography, and illustration is highly preferred.
• Must possess an upbeat attitude and a willingness to perform physical grocery tasks alongside artistic duties.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and safely lift up to 40 pounds.
